CURRICULUM (English)

Fabio Zuliani is a film director, writer and performer born in Turin, Italy.
For many years, Zuliani studied Eastern philosophy and practiced meditation while cultivating an interest in American cinema from the 1960s and ‘70s, especially the work of Stanley Kubrick.
Having specialised in artistic studies at school, he has been a guest on the Maurizio Costanzo Show (a famous Italian talk show) on various occasions, where he has been able to gain appreciation as a "prose poet " on a national level. His meeting with the great actor Carmelo Bene, which occurred in 1994, signalled a turning point for him on both a creative and personal level.
Zuliani initially made a number of independent films, including “Play”, an award-winner at several important specialist festivals and “The House with Arched Windows”.
In 2008, he made his debut in the world of comedy with the film “Mr Raven Show”, in which he played fifteen different characters; his latest feature film, “Matera Is Far Away”, is on the other hand a thriller set in Basilicata played out against a spiritual backdrop.
Besides cinema and literature, Zuliani's main interests are traveling and rap music. "La mia guerra personale", released in 2023, is his first music album.
